Tanasi Is Open Seven Days on Tellico Lake, and the Fall Calendar Hasn't Moved In Yet

October 8, 2026

Tanasi Waterfront Dining & Clubhouse is open again at 450 Clubhouse Point. It serves lunch and dinner every day of the week, and it is open to the public. The Tellico Village fall calendar for October and November is still built around the Yacht Club, Toqua Pavilion, and Community Church. Those are the places that held the Village's social life together while Tanasi was gone. So Tanasi has come back as the daily room. The big dated nights of the season haven't moved in yet.

That split comes from the past four years.

Four Years Between the Fire and the Ribbon

The POA's quarterly newsletter recorded the date the original Tanasi Clubhouse burned: August 27, 2022. WBIR reported no injuries, and the building was a total loss. The Village then spread Tanasi's jobs across other places:

  1. Fall 2022. Golf restarted out of the starter-turn shack. At first, carts were stored and charged at Public Works, and Village volunteers shuttled them back and forth.
  2. Same season. Tanasi's food-service staff moved to the Yacht Club. The Tellico Village Connection reported that Tanasi favorites were served there alongside lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
  3. May 2023. A temporary Tanasi clubhouse opened with check-in, a golf shop, a lounge with four TVs, and a deck facing the lake and the 10th hole. It offered drinks and light snacks but no full-service restaurant.
  4. August 27, 2026. Residents, POA staff, and local officials gathered for the ribbon-cutting on the new building, four years to the day after the fire. State Representative Lowell Russell, Loudon County Mayor Buddy Bradshaw, and Loudon City Mayor Rick Harris attended.

Speaking to WBIR before the opening, Tellico Village marketing and communications officer Beth Kuberka summed up the gap:

"We haven't had any food service here in four years, so that was a big loss to the community and to the golfers."

That's the change this fall. For four years, a meal at Tanasi meant driving to the Yacht Club. Golfers coming off the course got a snack bar. As of five weeks ago, the kitchen is back at the golf course.

A Building Designed for Several Kinds of Visit

Kuberka told WBIR that the old clubhouse had needed more room: "The kitchen was too small so we knew we wanted it to be bigger." WBIR put the rebuild at $11.6 million. The POA credits Paradym Studio with the design and RTC Contracting with building it under budget. Source One Furniture furnished the interior, Windrock Commercial Kitchen Equipment designed the kitchen, and Jeans Landscaping & Lawn Care did the grounds.

The rooms are laid out for several kinds of visit, not one. According to the POA's amenity page, Tanasi has:

  • 114 indoor seats for a sit-down meal
  • 102 outdoor waterfront seats, nearly as many as indoors
  • A 32-seat bar
  • A private dining room for meetings and events
  • A fireside flex space for gatherings, seasonal dining, and casual seating

The two biggest seating areas are almost the same size, so the deck is a full dining room, not overflow. Food and beverage director Christine Martinez described the bar this way: "If you want to come in and hang out at the bar and have a snack and a drink, you're welcome to do that." Reservations go through Resy, walk-ins are welcome at the bar, and boaters can tie up at courtesy dock space.

The Silos Covers the Casual End

The simulator bays and lounge now have a name: The Silos at Tanasi Golf Club. It refers to the three silos standing in the water just beyond the property. The food there leans toward snacks and quick, golfer-friendly plates, meant to complement the full dining room next door. You order at a kiosk inside The Silos, from a server when one is working the simulator or fireplace area, or at the Tanasi bar.

The POA credits the setup to Martinez on the food and beverage side and Casey Flenniken on the golf side. In practice, that means one building now covers everything from a post-round drink in front of the fireplace to a reserved dinner on the deck. During the gap, those two things happened at two separate addresses.

What's on the Menus Right Now

Tanasi calls its menu modern American and seasonal, with seafood and fresh ingredients. The menus dated August 26 include:

  • Dinner: smoked-trout dip, potato croquettes, hamachi crudo, a burger blended from chuck, brisket, and short rib, scallops, lamb pot roast, and a 16-ounce ribeye
  • Lunch: shrimp sliders, a chicken-bacon-lettuce-tomato sandwich, a braised-lamb wrap, and beef-tallow fries with the sandwiches
  • Bar: a smoked Old Fashioned and a mango margarita

The restaurant's own posts from the last few weeks give more detail. The croquettes come with smoked pork belly, cheddar, and a scallion-cream dip. Hand-breaded chicken nuggets come with Benton's bacon ranch. The October 2 post was an invitation to steak night with the Prime ribeye, served with red wine reduction, steak fries, and sautéed spinach.

Where the Fall's Dated Nights Are Booked

Tanasi has already hosted one seasonal event. An Oktoberfest with German beer, brats, and potato salad ran in the fireplace lounge on Friday, September 25. The POA's September 29 Tell-E-Gram lists a Tanasi "Music Monday" item without dates or times. Watch the weekly newsletter for those details.

The dated events between now and Thanksgiving are elsewhere:

Date Event Where
Mon., Oct. 5, 4–7 p.m. Tellico Village Lions Oktoberfest Yacht Club, 100 Sequoyah Road
Thu., Oct. 8, 5–8 p.m. Toqua Music Nights Toqua Pavilion, 200 Toqua Club Way
Sun., Oct. 11, 1–4:30 p.m. GFWC Tellico Village 30th Annual Home Tour Expo Four Village homes
Sun., Nov. 1, 6–9 p.m. Top Notes Big Band Dance Yacht Club, 100 Sequoyah Road
Thursdays, Nov. 5–26, 5–8 p.m. Toqua Music Nights Toqua Pavilion
Wed., Nov. 11, 9 a.m. VFW Veterans Day Ceremony Community Church at Tellico Village, 130 Chota Center

The schedules show how the venues fit together. The POA lists four Village dining venues: the Yacht Club, Toqua Bar & Grill, Kahite Pub & Grill, and Tanasi Waterfront Dining. The Yacht Club's restaurant serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, plus Sunday brunch, and it has fall menus dated September 2026. Toqua and Kahite are both listed as serving daily. Tanasi is open seven days, until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. So on a Monday, when the Yacht Club restaurant isn't serving, Tanasi is a waterfront dinner option. Tomorrow's Lions Oktoberfest falls on a Monday too, and it's at the Yacht Club.

Just Outside the Village This Month

  • Tennessee Brew Works Lenoir City Barrel House opened in the former fire station at 200 East Depot Street, with a grand opening August 28–29. The 22,000-square-foot building combines a taproom and brewhouse with food, sports, and live music. It's open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Maple Lane Farms' 28th Annual Corn Maze & Fall Festival runs October 16–18 at 1126 Maple Lane in Greenback, with a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and hayrides.
  • The Appalachian Paranormal Festival is October 17, 2–5 p.m., at Tate & Lyle Amphitheater in Loudon Municipal Park.

Two Notes for This Week

Spectrum is replacing equipment at about 680 utility pedestals in Main Village during the day, October 5 through 9. Customers on each pedestal could lose service for about 20 minutes. Resurfacing is finished in Tanasi Shores. Work in Mialaquo started up again September 28 and covers selected streets, including Noya Way, Odali Trace, Odali Lane, and Elohi Place and Way. In Kahite, the list includes Kahite Trail and several neighborhood roads.

A rebuilt clubhouse on the water changes how neighbors describe the Village to friends who are thinking about a move, and to anyone thinking about selling this year. If you'd like to talk about what Tanasi's return means for your street, Krista Freshour is happy to meet you on the Tanasi deck for coffee, with no agenda. When you're ready, List With Krista.
